Profile

I have been a developer for 22 years, mostly web applications and business systems. I have worked on e-commerce sites, point-of-sale software, US physician directories, booking software, stock market data systems, apps for iOS, Android, macOS and Windows, and custom technical solutions. I work across backend, frontend, apps and servers, so I take on whole projects and lead a team through to production — deployment and operations included. Since August 2025 my team has worked AI-first. Agents write most of the code; a person reads every line, writes the tests and stands behind what ships. The hard part now is reading code and choosing the direction, not typing it.

  • Website for a nail salon in Gaithersburg, Maryland: a 77-service price list, a lookbook, Google reviews and online booking.
  • Bookings, customers, payments and the service catalogue sync both ways with Square, the POS the salon already runs on.

CRM — Project-based customer care

  • Each customer is a project: GitHub-style issues, live chat with staff, versioned documents and an internal care log.
  • A sales pipeline and per-person workload reports; chat and notifications are real time over SSE on PostgreSQL LISTEN/NOTIFY.

VNFData — Vietnamese stock market data

  • The market data site of VietnamFinance: four exchanges, a heatmap, foreign order flow, company profiles and the magazine's own ratings.
  • The newsroom publishes through its own back office; the numbers run through the session on a Go API, PostgreSQL and Redis.

NailMaker — iOS app for salon photography

iOS 17+ · App Store · static marketing site

  • iPhone app for nail techs: 0.5× macro focusing from about 2 cm, studio background removal and colour work by a model running on the phone itself.
  • Auto-stamps the salon name and builds before–after collages ready to post; no account, and photos never leave the phone.

MacXa — Remote desktop for the Mac

  • Reach the Mac you left at home: from another Mac, from an iPhone, or in the browser of someone else's machine.
  • A nine-digit ID pairs the two ends through my own relay — no VPN, no port forwarding, and it wakes the machine from sleep.

KTPDF — PDF editor for browser, macOS and Windows

  • Retype the text already inside the file instead of sticking a box on top; add images and watermarks, merge, split, rotate and delete pages.
  • Runs in the browser and as apps on macOS and Windows — no account, no daily limit, and the file never leaves the machine.

TaskFlow — Task tracking and KPIs for a team

  • An internal task tool: drag-and-drop Kanban, a per-person timeline and a week view; managers see everything, staff only their own work.
  • Scores each person on four KPIs — output, completion, quality, discipline — and posts new and overdue tasks to Telegram.

NPI Telehealth — A directory of 272,000 US clinicians built from federal data

  • One profile per clinician, assembled from several CMS datasets: NPPES, MIPS quality scores, Medicare Part D prescribing, Open Payments and the OIG exclusion list.
  • Search by specialty, state, city and telehealth availability; every figure is set against state and national averages so patients can read it.

DentalNPI — Finding US dentists by their federal records

  • A curated dentist directory: 5,220 profiles across 51 states and 14 dental specialties, ranked by record completeness, Medicare enrolment and service in shortage areas.
  • Practice addresses are matched against HRSA dental shortage areas (HPSAs) and each state's Medicaid programme.

GIASU — A marketplace connecting tutors and families

  • Families find tutors by subject, grade and area and take a trial lesson before booking; fees are held until after the lesson and a 48-hour dispute window.
  • Tutors earn a GIASU Score from real teaching data; every student has a learning profile with goals and per-subject progress that survives a change of tutor.
