Profile

Twenty years building and running production software: e-commerce, healthcare directories at national scale, booking systems, market data pipelines. I work across the whole stack and own what I ship — schema, interface, servers, deploys. Since August 2025 I build with AI agents drafting and me reviewing, which is why six products shipped in the last year instead of one. Open to senior remote roles and contract work.

What I Build

Business operations platforms — Back office, field apps and one API behind both — bookings, contracts, staff, money.
Native apps — iOS, Android, macOS, Windows. Through the App Store or shipped direct.
Data pipelines at scale — ETL over millions of records, partitioned schemas, an API on top that stays fast.
Browser-side engineering — WebAssembly and WebRTC — heavy work done on the user's own machine, nothing uploaded.
Directories & technical SEO — Millions of pages with structured data, built to rank and to keep ranking.
Booking & scheduling — Multi-tenant calendars, reminders, staff rosters and commission.
E-commerce & marketplaces — Catalogue, checkout, payment and shipping integrations.
Infrastructure I actually run — Linux, nginx, PostgreSQL, MinIO, TLS, deploys — no platform team behind me.
AI-assisted delivery — Agents draft, I review and test. Same accountability, a fraction of the time.

Diễm Nails — Salon management platform

Runs a nail, lash and hair salon in District 4: diemnails.com, plus admin and API subdomains.
Next.js on a Prisma/MySQL schema, with Redis and scheduled jobs.
Bookings, staff, customers and finance in one back office; reports exported to Excel.
Firebase push and email notifications; JWT sessions with per-role access.

VNFData — Vietnamese stock market data

Market data site for VietnamFinance: VN-Index, VN30, HNX and UPCoM.
Intraday charts, market-wide heatmap, liquidity and foreign order flow.
Two Next.js apps — the public site and a CMS — over a Go API on a private host.
Separate database server; Redis for hot data through the trading session.

NailMaker — iOS app for salon photography

Native iPhone app for nail salons: photograph work with macro focus and clean backdrops.
Before–after collages and the salon watermark, ready to post.
Shipped on the App Store; nailmaker.cam is its bilingual landing and policy site.

MacXa — Remote desktop for the Mac

macOS app · iOS app · self-hosted relay · Next.js site

Native macOS and iOS apps for reaching your own Mac remotely.
A nine-digit ID pairs the two ends through my own relay — no VPN, no port forwarding.
H.264 video at 30 fps; macOS updates ship through Sparkle.
Also reachable from a browser when you are on someone else's machine.

SendXa — Large files straight from one machine to another

Web only · WebRTC data channels · self-hosted STUN · Streams API

Files up to 32 GB between any two devices, entirely in the browser — nothing to install.
Peer-to-peer over WebRTC data channels, paired through a STUN server I run myself.
A relay steps in only when a direct path cannot be opened.
Clipboard text and images send without saving a file first; nothing is kept on the server.

KTPDF — PDF editor for browser, macOS and Windows

PDF editor that edits the text already inside the file, not stickers on top.
Add text, images and watermarks; merge, split, rotate and delete pages.
Runs online in any browser, and as desktop apps on macOS and Windows.
pdf-lib and pdf.js with WebAssembly decoders — the file never leaves the machine.
